The Present Theatre Company, Inc. is a 501.c.3 (not-for-profit) corporation in the State of New York and the proud creator and producer of The New York International Fringe Festival (FringeNYC).
When we started FringeNYC in 1997, the budget for the festival was $74,000. Today, our costs have surpassed a million dollars. Although we spent five years during the country’s financial crisis “tightening the belt” wherever we could, we still must seek and secure support from individual donors in order to “bridge the gap” between our expenses:
